Since the 1980's the Environmental Industry Associations has sponsored a top of the line Casualty Insurance Program for waste service companies of all sizes and types, one for auto liability and workers compensation, a second for pollution legal liability landfills and closure/post closure care. Our objective has been to provide:

- $1,000,000 basic limit (higher limits are available), deductibles starting at $5,000 - Natural resources damage is defined and covered
- Mediation deductible credit of up to $25,000 available
- Worldwide territory
- Automatic 30 day Extended Reporting Period (ERP) and option to purchase up to a three year ERP is available
- Coverage for "emergency actions" taken by the insured
- Deductibles and "pay on behalf" wording, rather than SIR and "indemnity" wording
- The WIPP policy can be endorsed to meet mandatory financial responsibility guidelines for regulated facilities. |
