Danielle Pellitteri was recently promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where she will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Pellitteri sales department and making the company’s marketing decisions. She holds a B.A. in business from Bethel University with an emphasis in marketing and small business management. She is a WasteCap Wisconsin (www.wastecapwi.org) accredited professional in construction and demolition debris recycling and a member of the EIA Women’s Council.
A recent Waste & Reycling News article recently higlighted women in the solid waste industry, including Nancy Bretas, a staff member of Republic Services and the president emeritus of the EIA Women's Council. “Obviously it’s a male-dominated industry,” said Nancy Bretas, communications manager at Republic Services Inc., said about solid waste. “But I’ve found that the men in this business are very receptive to the ideas from women, from women’s involvement in the industry, and I find it a very exciting business.”
